Its actually not the play/pause button to get it to move between hours and minutes. It is the "Time Set" button you need to press. So, hold the "Time Set" button until the time flashes. If you want to go between 12 hour and 24 hour time, then hit the the ">>" button. To set the hour, press the "Time Set" button and now only the hour will be blinking. Use the ">>" or "<<" button to adjust the hour. Press the "Time Set" button again, to move it to the minutes. Use the ">>" or "<<" to adjust the minutes. Then press the "Time Set" button to finish setting the time. You can do this with the "Power" switch on or off.
