Generally it is 14 ½ to work, but you can work earlier as long as your have your parent’s permission.

- Most places like k-mart, Coles, Big W, Target etc you apply online on their websites, look for a link 'careers' or 'employment'. A bit lengthy I know.... but you fill in what area you want to work etc, and they will email you jobs coming up, you can pick and choose, if you are then accepted they will call you in for an interview.
