    moved from optus to telstra. however, optus will not network unlock my phone. now i have an expensive doorstop

      Call your cellphone service provider. Only they can do this. Speak to their customer support.

        you would think it would be that easy, don't you. however, i have asked repeatedly since september, and the phillipines call centre always answers no, they can't.
