Gas fired stoves and Boilers are generally the most efficient, electric the lease efficient.

Yes I know this, but there are now, "high efficiency" boilers, that I was asking about. These are the ones that vent through the wall with a pvc pipe. In fact, in RI, there is a program with National Grid, where there is a $3,500 rebate towards the installation of one, if your current gas boiler is 30 yrs. or more old. $4,000 rebate if it is a rental house!
