    How about charging a tenant for carpet cleaning when they move out!

    Carpet was left very dirty, shmpooed twice and most all of the dirt came out. Can I charge for the cleaning?

      If the tenants have provided a reciept tha says they have had the carpets cleaned by a professional you can not charge them for cleaning.


      Wear and tear must be taken into account, and a tribunal will always back a tenant, in this case especially if they have tried to have the carpets cleaned..


      This is why I say if you have a rental , tile the floor causes alot less troubles...
