Lol Ducky:)...Tech has a lot of downsides IMHO! So many people are stressed out by partners ? Using it to cheat or just paranoid by it!.. In my day (lol)... We only had to riffle through their phone books/diaries and decode messages that way!!lol NOT ME of course!!;)...just some people! ;) ;)... (Ok so tag my comment under "crime"!!!:-) lmao

If you didn't make a backup, I'm afraid that "deleted" indeed means they're gone. One thing though: you might check the text message history (the tabs on top of the screen) to see if they're also gone there.
