That depends on what you want a dog for ! Like a person each dog is unique a mixed breed can have the most loving personality.A pure breed often needs more work, a big dogs life span is shorter ,ask yourself are you ready to love a dog as much as he will love you ? that whats really important.They are a commitment .Please don't get a dog and think its just an animal.It would give its life for you if you show them love. The answer to your question is what dog would you love to own ..given where you live :))
