It's getting too much air and not enough fuel. Check your fuel filter for dirt and clogs and fuel bowl for sediment. If there is "floaties" in the fuel bowl then you need to clean the tank and flush the fuel lines and clean the bowl. Also check for water in the fuel bowl. If there is water, then you need to check the tank and lines for holes or visible signs of a leak.
