Try this Press & hold star button. If bell on display has a bar thru it will get rid of bar. Star button switches ringer On/Off.
Most carriers set their default "ring time until voicemail" picks up time to 15 seconds. That time is controlled by the carrier. They will normally extend that to 30 seconds. You need to call your carrier and ask specifically about extending the "ring time until voicemail".
