Sorry, if mum locked it, then we can not tell you how to unlock it. You can say that she did it to stop your sister from using it but I can not be sure that's true. As far as I know, in order to reset a cellphone once the password is forgotten, you end up losing everything that is saved to it because it has to be reset to factory condition. Tell mum she has to remember the password.
