        I think he means here in the UK Colleen, we are supposed to be voting for Police Commissioners which we have never had before, most areas have no information on the candidates or who they are.Another fine mess, what we really need is law and order and tough sentences, not another overpaid fluncky riding around in a flash car getting paid about £150,000 per year.Talk about cutbacks:

        OK, here in the US, the presidential elections are coming up and this also includes the electing of other officials. The police commissioners are appointed by the mayor here though so wasn't sure if maybe Hubert was confused.

        I think I gave my answer in my comment to Colleen's answer. What a waste of public money this idea is.
