Blythewood is a town in Fairfield and Richland counties in the U.S. state of South Carolina. The population was 2,034 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Columbia, South Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area. Blythewood Road is one of the main thoroughfares, and intersects Interstate 77 at Exit 27.
