      In briefly summarizing an adequate response to esoterically applied vernacular so liberally phrased within the question, I would say it sounds as though the security industry is undergoing an identity crisis compounded by an acute and chronic bout with constipation. That's just my own unbiased opinion though.

        How it would affect the individual guards themselves, would follow the time-proven principle that everything flows downhill...eventually.
