The only thing I can think of suggesting is taking a multi-tester and checking to see at what juncture in the wiring that it doesn't have power. Maybe it's a bad switch or a connection that isn't supplying power to where it is needed.

I don't know if you have a multi-tester available, but they are extremely handy in pinpointing where problems exist. Usually you can get a half decent one for $20-$30. They are useful for checking continuity in lines also. Just be careful what mode you have it in, if you are testing live wires...as you can fry one in a flash if you have it in the wrong mode.

I meant to reply in the comment section...sorry about that!

Have you checked for any reset buttons?

    SIR ALLAN

Hi. thanks for getting back to me. Do you know where any reset buttons are?. The machine goes through its cycle but the motor does not kick in. I think it may be the choke(capacitor) Iv tried a spare working motor in the machine but still no response from the motor.Hope you can help.

Hi, thanks for your help. I do have a multi meter for testing continuity etc. That will be my next move.

Thanks again for all your help.
