God did so in the Bible, in Revelations.

The Earth Scientists agree with the part of the Bible where God said after the great flood, that in the end when he finally destroyers Earth it would be by FIRE.

They say that in billions of years from now the Sun will begin to expand, as it consumes all of its hydrogen and destroys the Earth, when it goes Super Nova as do all Stares over time

well the bible does refer to the tribulation......when the earth or life as we know it.......is supposed to end. But, it's not going to end when the Mayan calender says it's going to . It's going to end when our Lord decides it's going to end.
