The hotel is still there. It may have been the last of the Kona Kai locations in the country when Marriott converted it to an Italian restaurant. DC also had a Trader Vic's, which closed in 1995. After a long Tiki drought, Tiki bars have returned to the DC area, including one in Bethesda - just minutes from the old Kona Kai. But sadly, none with the size and the grandeur of the places like Trader Vic's and Kona Kai.

So, even without the 25 percent over-testing, the Deepsea Challenge is rated to link get you to the link deepest water on the planet, even if you can't get there without a very special submarine.

Unlike my mother's father – who also served in the Navy, who instilled in me a love of watches, and who I knew from the day I was born until he passed in my early twenties – I never knew my dad's link dad. Lt. Commander Frank Kauzlarich served in World link War II, the link Korean War, and in Vietnam.

One of those early Bubbleback collectors was link Jason Singer who showed an incredible variety of Bubblebacks link in his Talking Watches. But Singer's trajectory as a collector mirrors the broader market. While he discovered the Bubbleback early he then moved on to later sports Rolex. Jacobs said that as these link sports models increased in popularity Bubblebacks fell out of favor by the early '90s.
