According to an interview in OK! Magazine, Keith Lemon claims that he wears a bandage on his right hand because he was attacked by a kangaroo at a zoo in Australia; in truth this appears to only be a prop (which we suspect is a visual prompt to stay in character).

Leigh Francis loosely based his character Keith Lemon on his best friend of the same name. Francis did his first interview as himself on "The Frank Skinner Show" in 2004.

Keith Lemon The Film premiered at cinemas on 24 August 2012.

In a few months the Keith Lemon character will be on ITV's dating show Take Me Out. Along with Joe Swash, and Matt Johnson, Lemon will be competing for a chance to go to the Isle of Fernandos, should he be able to impress the show's episode's 30 women during the Christmas special.
