    What are the guidelines for running electirc cable (10/3 or 12/3 romex) through 2 or more walls.

    I have 2 x 12 exposed beams in the ceiling of a garage.  Should I drill through the beams to get to the back wall or run it down a side wall and "notch" out the corner?
