    do mail in ballots get counted

    I was told that mail in ballots for presidential elections don't get counted unless the tally is a tie or very close. Is that true?

      Generally yes, if received on time.


      In places like Chicago and Philadelphia, Democrat votes will likely counted MUlTIPLE times  as well  ;-)
