    between oil based and epoxy paint which is the best for a classic cedar planked boat in Northwest Oregon ?

    boat will be stripped to bare wood to remove all old paint.

    oil is usually always best and more care yes but best for the boat if it is reg. maintained. based on the limited info oil. now if you just want quick and less reg. work epoxy . but i am a boat purist.
