It depends what you are looking for.  Plasma tv's have great pictures with clear and vibrant colors- so I prefer the picture a plasma gives.  LCDs are more versitile- especially when it comes to connecting to computers.

And I understand that the Plasma doesn't have the lifespan of the LCD.
