It depends what you are looking for. Plasma tv's have great pictures with clear and vibrant colors- so I prefer the picture a plasma gives. LCDs are more versitile- especially when it comes to connecting to computers.

thanks what is the best size for a room 14ftby 12ft,
I have a 42" in that size room and it works- I love sports and wouldnt go any smaller that that
