Log into the Gmail account that holds the contact list you want to retrieve.

Click the "Contacts" link and press the "More Actions" drop-down menu button.

Click "Export" from the drop-down menu and select the group of contacts that you want to retrieve from the "Export Contacts" pop-up window that follows. You can export all of your contacts by choosing the "All Contacts" option.

Click to select the CSV format that best suits your needs. Your options include retrieving contacts for importing into a different Gmail account or Microsoft Outlook.

Press the "Export" button to finalize the process. A "Google.csv" file that contains your contacts should appear in your computer's "Downloads" folder. Use this file to import or retrieve contact information as necessary.
