Measure with the car on level ground, engine idling for 1 to 2 minutes, gear selector in "P," with the dipstick completely inserted and the locking lever released. Markings on the dipstick are for fluid at a normal operating temperature of 80C. Fluid below normal temperature will register below the minimum marking on the stick. Do not over fill; excess needs to be removed. Remember to lock the dipstick when finished.
