How do you get rid of tiny ants in cupboards

I use a pinch of boric acid in a teaspoon of sugar. Mix with just enough water to make a sirup and put some near the ants on a piece of wax paper or a bottle cap. The ants will be attracted and take the tainted sugar to their hive and the borax will kill off the mold the ants grow as food for themselves. Also, if ants are in a sugar bowl you can get them to leave by placing a Q-tip soaked in alcohol (any variety including vanilla extract or rubbing alcohol) into the jar or trash and they will leave within an hour. The alcohol is irritating to the ants.

Ant bait or traps, just like any other ants. If you were to find the nest, you could spray it with insecticide.

Lots of antwells ... away from food and dishes and kids ... be sure and write the date on them

My dad used to say “It’s a step ant, piss on it!”
Those little ants have a fowl smell. : D
