can you answer a question about opiods?

I have very seldom taken more of my opiod than I'm prescribed. Over the years that I've taken the medication, I have "hoarded" away about three months worth! (accidentally!)

What do I do? Do I return to the doctor for my regular monthly visit and thus collect more. (It is good to have a collection of this medication in case there was a fire, flood, earthquake, or something worse.) I have chronic pain and can not do without them.

    Do you have any ideas?

itsmee...I do not understand how a person can "accidentally hoard" drugs. In any case, we cannot allow this question regarding these drugs. You need to see your physician about this situation.
