You may have to reset your password. The only way the password is not recognized is if you type it in wrong. Double check how you are typing it in. Passwords are case sensitive. If you still can not get the password to work, click the link next to the password box that reads "forgot password" and follow the instructions on how to reset the password.
If you have not used your e-mail in a few months, it may not exist any more because most e-mails auto delete if they are considered abandoned through lack of use.
