To E.S., I assume you're talking about the late Karen Carpenter. She was one of the few female singers that had a beautiful alto voice.....she and Anne Murray.

No matter how much fine Cuban rum I consume on my annual Havana visits, I have yet to stumble upon THE Copa Cabana. I'll try again next January but I suspect, despite my optimistic disposition, that I'll come up empty once again.

The glorious upside to my search is...my copious consumption of genuine Cuban rum.

dig, We bought Rum in the Carribean too. I think the Copa Cabana was fictious.Or, maybe it's in San Juan, Puerto Rico. However, when we were there, we did not see an establishment by that name.
