    where is the starter motor on a vauxhall vectra 2007 3.0l turbo diesel

    My partner recently flooded the car driving through flood water. We have let it dry out, stripped it and now it just makes a funny noise. Won't start over. part stripped it and the air filter, hoses (incl the turbo hose) and turbo were water logged. Jacked it up and a lot of water came out of the exhaust pipe on the N/S of the car

      It is connected to the flywheel, at the back of the engine.
