    My chest hurts. From stress?

    I am at work right now but I have a chest pain; it happened before but it went away and not this obvious... I've been through alot in past months/yr and it keeps coming... Could it be from stress?

    Thx so much to all. I spoke with physician assitant and staff did ECG done on me yesterday, normal cardiac. Yeah! I'm better now and still in one piece. Thx for all the prayers by GAGs and friends everywhere; it was a scare- never had that intense pain on chest before... Have a glorious day.

    ... and I was advised to take TUMS, drink ginger in hot/warm water, it helped and i'm still glad.

      It "COULD BE" from stress but go to emergency, in case it is NOT just stress.  They will advise you at the hospital.  Sometimes, chest pain can be eased by sitting quietly and doing some deep breathing exercises, but I am not a qualified medical person so, see a doctor ASAP!!!

        Yes chest pain can be due to stress and especially anxiety, i hope for your sake it is just that.Any type of chest pain should be reported to a Doctor.

            I COULD be from stress, it could be something you ate. It could be a number of things. Best to have it checked out by a doctor. It could be nothing so get it checked out. If anything, you should get some relief....

              I wouldn't screw around with this. It could be gas or you could be having a heart attack. Get to a doctor. (my opinion)
