          Divide both sides of the equation by 6, leaving you with x = 3. You always want to get x "by itself."

              Colleen i do not seriously do anything wrong on purpose,if i make mistakes i am sorrey,but if you want to block my I.P.                   6x= 18, six is multiplying x so divide both sides by 6,6x/6=18/6, 6x divided into 6 is 1x or x and 18 divided into 6 is , so x=3
