    why does my computer shut off by itself when in service

    while i am logged on, it will automatically shut down.  happens 2 - 3 x's daily. please help me figure out why

      If the computer shuts down completely this could mean your computer's power supply is at fault, worst case is your motherboard is defective. (overheating)  I would suspect it is power supply first.
