You don't need to transfer them. They are automatically added to your bookmark list.

Thanks for your interest but what you say isn't happening I'm afraid. Bookmarks I added months ago are still only in my "recent" list. I'm running Windows Vista.

I went to the forum as you suggested and found that someone had asked the same question. The answer from one responder was that they never move, and that I need to do it manually! Seems a strange arrangement.
