    if on medicare and a person wins a insurance settlement, do they lose their medicare

    Medicare is for folks over 65. I don't think an insurance settlement would affect that. However if it is Medicaid, then the settlement would. This is just my opinion, I do not know for sure!

    I would think they will loose their medic care, depending how much the settlement is for.
