Drano is a line of products that helps you unclog sinks and toilets. The chemical mixture in the product breaks up clogs and other gunk inside your home's pipes, dissolving and loosening them, allowing the water to once again flow freely. For toilets, Drano only recommends using the product called Drano Prevention. The microorganisms in this product help break down the clogs in your toilet and make it easier for you to correct the plumbing problem. The product only works for slow-draining toilets; Drano notes it will not clear completely clogged toilets. Drano used for clogged pipes is not suitable for toilets because of their configuration, the company says.

    Try a plunger.
