how do you get a kitten and my older cat to get along?
The problem I'm having is that I have a 11/2 yr old cat and she's hissing and not having anything to do with this kitten that my daughter decided to get and I just want to make sure that this is natural.

I'm not a cat expert but I had the same problem with an older dog and a puppy. There's no doubt that there is some jealousy and fear going on. My two dogs just started happily playing together after a couple of days and then became inseparable.
