No you can not choke and die. The choking would wake you up so you could do something about the bleeding. You should get a humidifier for your bedroom. If the nose bleeds are not because of some medical issue, then the air in your bedroom may be too dry. See a doctor for the nose bleeds anyway if you have not done so already.

I've had a few of them recently due to thin membranes in my nose, no big deal apart from rescuing my pillows, but that's MY problem, better to visit your doc about yours.

and if you sleep on your stomach that would insure that it would drain, if you bled, and you would not choke.  Why not go to Dr. and see why you bleed in the first place?

Yep..should get it investigated..lots of causes for epistaxis(nose bleeds)...your G.P.will no doubt check your Blood Pressure....as high B/P can be a cause and needs treatment..better safe than sorry...or at least will give you peace of mind!

Are you bleeding down you own throat? Are you swallowing? You could bleed to death. Get this checked out by a doctor......
