    gas pedal not working

    I have a 1997 GMC C6500 and when i start it the gas pedal will not  work but then sometimes it will rev it up,is this a fuel filter problem?

      Could be a clog in the fuel filter or it could be the fuel pump. It could be a few other problems. Have it checked by a certified mechanic.
