    my sony big screen tv will not come on there is a red light that stays on.tv will not come on. is there a reset button

    before the tv did this the red light was alwaysblinking now it just stay solid .the remote does not seem to work.it did turm the tv off and on before

      Try unplugging the TV for 10 minutes then try it again. See if that helps.

        Sounds like a power fault in your TV blown component. Check as facebook says  If not its the repair man you require .Good luck.

          If your TV is hook to a cable than your remote has to be set to operrate the remote& tv. try close tv and push the buttom on remote to cable and than push buttom on the remote this time push tv and power bottom.
