    radio in my volvo v40 1999 stopped working when the battery died, any suggestions please?

    I am not sure is the original radio, but maybe as it only has radio and cassette player...really old! It just says "OFF" when it is turned on, no sound or anything

      I got a boost once and my radio was on.


      The boost fried it.

        Happen to a friends Volvo. Had to take it to a dealer to activate the original code for the radio. It's a theft protection feature.
