    I'm thinking that might invite trouble.. we have coyotes around here and not that shy. I watched one pass in front of me less than 50 yards and he didn't bat an eye. It's come to a point that I don't like to let Bailey out side with out one of us or Thunder.. {125 lb  Rottweiler} he would be a formidable match for a coyote, and should have no problem with one... Im thinking a beagle is gonna have a whole lot of trouble, bells whistles or not
