I have a male chihuahua and he weighs 10 lbs. when they are suppose to weigh 5 or 6 lbs. I don't give him too much to eat and I give him Beneful. He was fixed tho', so , he can't have a female have puppies anymore. Please let me know what the best food is for him.. Thank you.

there are low carb. and low fat diets for pets, however, even if you use this and overfeed him, he will be overweight! you could use your current feed, and use minimal amounts of it, and increase his exercise, and he will lose weight... Check with your veterinarian, they will show you exactly how much to feed him... You must of course cut out all treats, and no human food should be fed to him at all, consistently, by the whole family~!
