You can dry wet ignition wires with WD-40 spray. You may have to take them off each plug, and dry each, if excessively wet. Remember, only one off at the time, or your problems become much worse, you need to keep each wire in its proper location, or you will effect the timing of the engine! Next time, get a can of spray engine cleaner, and follow directions. I do it once per year, never had a problem, you only need a quick spray to rinse the cleaner. And do this on a warm engine, not too hot, it does help the water dry off.
