I just washed my truck engine in the carwash. My truck now has a hard time running and boggs down when accelerating....Any suggestions what the problem may be?

Your engine is soaked. Give it some time to dry out. If there's still a problem after 2 days, have a mechanic look at it. You may have knocked a vacuum hose loose spaying high pressure water into the engine.

Never mix water with electrics or oil.
All you can do now is let it dry out and hope it will run before all the working parts get rusty.Good Luck

You can dry wet ignition wires with WD-40 spray.  You may have to take them off each plug, and dry each, if excessively wet.  Remember, only one off at the time, or your problems become much worse, you need to keep each wire in its proper location, or you will effect the timing of the engine!  Next time, get a can of spray engine cleaner, and follow directions.  I do it once per year, never had a problem, you only need a quick spray to rinse the cleaner.  And do this on a warm engine, not too hot, it does help the water dry off.

Open hood, face it towards the sun and keep your fingers crossed that you didn't fry the ECM. bustieone's suggestion is a good one.
