        value can be whatever someone is willing to pay for an object.  Since this was a common mass produced item, many have survived, probably not too valuable.  also, electric appliances are tricky to market, some states make them illegal to sell with the cord attached, for safety reasons.  This forces the buyer to have it rewired.
