Connect the yellow, white and red plugs on one end of the composite cables to the matching AV IN jacks on the back of the JVC VCR.

Plug the other ends of the cables into the AV OUT jacks of a camcorder or TV. If connecting to a TV, tune the television to the desired channel for recording.

Insert a blank VHS tape into the compartment in the front of the VCR. The VCR will turn on and the tape will be pulled automatically into the component.

Turn on the TV or the camcorder.

Press the "Record" button on the JVC VCR to begin recording the TV program. Press the "Play" button on the camcorder to dub camcorder tapes on the JVC VCR.

Press the "Stop" button on the VCR when finsihed recording.
