Two cycle oil. You need to check and see if it has an oil tank, or it simply mixes in the fuel. The exact mixture is one whre you are going to have to investigate it further. Regardless of being the correct mixture or not, they were known for fouling plugs when the engine wasn't under a load. Just one of those characteristics of 2 cycle engines from that era.

You might want to see if there is a local Yamaha dealer who might know the proper mixture ratio.
