 most dishwashers are safe but I would never leave dishwasher on when going to bed or going out they are one of the main things that catch fire so do never leave it unattended

I 've known a dish washer not only did the dish but also did the floor, well that wasn;t suppose to happen, one of the water hose got rupture, now you know my dish washer story, no more dish washer in this house.
