If you pull the attachment off and look inside you will see that there is a small hole that the steam travels through into the flexible hose with the spring around it and then on to the head and out the smaller holes...

Now if the first hole gets plugged then no steam will get through to the head...however if there is something stuck in the hose or the smaller holes in the head are plugged it still could act the same...also check that the hose has not come off... there have been cases of the hose coming loose then the steam will not get to the head....you may have to remove the head to actually see that it is not connected properly.

So, first look right inside and check that out, then if that is okay, take out the four screws that hold the swivel joint into the head...then you can take out the last two screws holding the swivel joint to the head...

This will allow you to blow back through the hose to make sure it is not obstructed or to blow the dirt back out... a small wire or pipe cleaners will also work well.

If that is open the take a tooth pick or some small like that and open the holes in the head....blow through the head to make sure that they are open, try to make sure all of the holes are evenly opened so that you get good distribution of the steam to the whole head.

Then replace everything back like it came apart...make sure that you replace the two screws first then drop the swivel into the slots and replace the four screws.

Reinstall the head onto the mop and give it a minute or so to heat up after plugging it in.

Now the steam should be going out the head like it was intended...

If you still do not have any steam from the mop then the heating element has probably has gone bad. As far as I can tell there are no heating parts available for these. You will have to junk your mop and buy a new one.

Romos has covered it well. But before you open the mechanism, try this. Get CLR  and dip the spraying mechanism into it for a while.  The Calcium build up will dissolve and your steamer will function again.  Any hardware store HD, Target, Walmart etc will carry CLR.

HI! If you are experiencing problems with your steam cleaner, you might need to check its batteries. Did the batteries expire or (I hope not) put the batteries in the wrong places [like - in one place and + in another place]? If you find nothing, it is best to send back the item for technical maintenance of your steam cleaner. Maybe if you want, you could throw it out and buy a new one unless you are rich!
