Surely everybody hates the French, (but remember the French gave the USA the Statue of Libety).
I actually LIKE the French. They definitely have an appreciation for the finer things in life. Great food,fine looking women, drinkable wine. What's not to love?
Digger, I live with a French woman in France. You have to realise that there are two types of French, the Parisians and all the rest. Parisians are disliked by all non-Parisians, and the Parisians themselves do not seem to like each other very much.
Yes. I've heard that mentioned many times. I recently watched a movie called "Bievenue chez les Ch'tis". These northerers appear to be the polar opposites of the Parisiens.What part of France do you live ?
I'm in mid-France between Poitiers and La Rochelle. Wifey originates from Lille which is Ch'ti country.
Don't hate the French...and even did visit Paris + when 18 YO, they didn't seem to like me as I was obviously American But I enjoyed being there and remember thinking that they really just need to really get to know and understand us. Not to judge from afar. Still like them. :-)

Strong historical bonds since the United States' inception, they were after all, mostly Britons settling here initially. Can fight within the family, but will fight to death any outside intruder! Two very strong countries that "have each others back". Shared genetic blood.............. and bloodshed, unfortunately. We just can't help but be friends at the end of the day, it seems!

Why not...????Confused here...you can`t generalize re people... we may do somethings differently/culture wise....but WHY NOT.......don`t generalize!!....SOME PEOPLE we love..in all countries....some...like next door neighbours we don`t....Why the divide???....just take every person as they are!!:=0
