    On a bird? You do not trim the beak. The nails if you must trim them, take only the tips off. They use their claws to climb, perch and cling with. 

    Consult a reputable manicurist and cosmetic surgeon.

    but you can get some items for the bird to trim his own beak.  There are cuttle stones, and perches with grit, or an abrasive on them in which the bird rubs its beak, or toes upon causing excessive growth to wear down..  and when trimming toes and wings for that matter, watch out for the quick, the level of the blood and nerve tissue in the nails and feathers.  If you cut to the quick, there may be great pain, and bleeding.  So do not "cut to the quick"  or your bird, dog, cat, or horse will become phobic, and give you great difficulty in the future when you try to do the job again.
