My Dog Has Diarrhea! What Do I Do?

My Dog is not drinking and has diarrhea!!! He might be dehydrated! His Poo is also bloody! PLease help or give tips on what to do! Yes we have taken him to the vet.

Thank u all for your help. Yes we already knew that we had to take him to the vet so you all dont have to be rude about it. They gave him medicine and he is feeling much better. thank you LOG IN for that website :)

No one was rude. There are no veterinarians here and I never advocate any pet owner to play veterinarian for their pet. If you knew he had to go to the vet, why ask here? You should have asked the vet for advice when you called to schedule the appointment.

You need to take him to the Vet asp. The blood in his stool is not normal and he might be dehytrated since he is not drinking water..

I would give him something to drink with some flavor of meat in it, and to help stop the diarrhea, you can boil hamburg, or ideally ground lamb, and mix it with plain cooked white rice, and feed it for a couple of days. That bloody diarrhea is a possible sign of bad things however, like an infection. Get him to the veterinarian if possible, or at least take a stool sample in.
