No one was rude. There are no veterinarians here and I never advocate any pet owner to play veterinarian for their pet. If you knew he had to go to the vet, why ask here? You should have asked the vet for advice when you called to schedule the appointment.

I would give him something to drink with some flavor of meat in it, and to help stop the diarrhea, you can boil hamburg, or ideally ground lamb, and mix it with plain cooked white rice, and feed it for a couple of days. That bloody diarrhea is a possible sign of bad things however, like an infection. Get him to the veterinarian if possible, or at least take a stool sample in.
